What’s your style?
Hatha Flow
Yoga is derived from sanskrit and means “to join together and direct one’s attention”. This well balanced practice is designed to align and calm the body, mind and spirit. It is a slow meditative flowing practice to link movement with breath. Hatha is the yoga of balance, of yin and yang, sun and moon. It is a gentle, loving, caring, witnessing practice of being in balance in the midst of life.
Yin and Restorative
Yin is a practice for the joints, ligaments, bones and connective tissue. It helps uncoil tension in the body with long held poses. Yin is designed to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. It can be beneficial as a recovery for strong workouts as well as a great launching point for meditation.
Restorative Yoga can help to regulate the nervous system, increase circulation, and tap into the body’s ability to heal. This gentle style can help dismantle pain, improve immune function and restore balance.
Yoga in the Park
Reconnect to the joys of practicing outside, in community and in nature. Nature is fuel for the soul!
Sundays at 9:30am-10:45am in Mountain Lake Park. All levels class with plenty of variations for all bodies and experiences. Please bring a mat and any props that support your practice.
